Political Science Student Awarded Prestigious Rangel Fellowship

NGrandchampsNicholas Grandchamps, an Honors in the Major student with a double major in Legal Studies and Political Science at UCF, has been awarded a prestigious Rangel Fellowship through the Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Program.  Nicholas was one of thirty applicants selected in the nation for this award for which he will receive up to $90,000 in support of his master’s degree at either American University or George Washington University. After the completion of his degree, Nicholas will embark on a career as a Foreign Service Officer.

After receiving the news of this prestigious award, Nicholas said, “I am truly honored and humbled to be selected as a Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Fellow. This is an amazing opportunity, and I am excited to represent my country as a diplomat in such a challenging and rewarding career.”  He  will be joining the long list of alumni who have become Diplomats representing UCF across the globe. Nicholas  represents the very best to come out of UCF and we are enthusiastic that he will serve as a great representative throughout his career with the U.S. Department of State.
