Romantic Strolls with Sea Turtles

03nxg_p6_7_turtle_walk_g6f25oi7u103nxg_turtle2The College of Sciences wants to take COS faculty and potential donors on a long, moonlit walk on the beach. To learn about sea turtles of course! This summer, the College of Sciences has organized a series of Turtle Walks to promote the college’s excellent sea turtle research program and cultivate interest in the program. If you’d like to attend one of our Turtle Walks please let us know as soon as possible. Registration information is available below.

THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO COLLEGE OF SCIENCES STAFF AND BY SPECIAL INVITATION ONLY.

Turtle Walk Dates:

June 28
July 18 and 19
August 8 and 9

Important information for participants:

· Each night we can handle a max of 18 people
· People need to plan to arrive around 8-8:30 PM
· Plan to be there close to midnight before it ends (it is all based on the turtles)
· Wear comfortable clothes to walk on the beach in.
· Please register with Ray Allen to attend. Include your name, contact information and which night you plan to attend in an email to ray.allen@ucf.edu.

All guests will need to park in the Publix Parking lot across the street. There is not enough parking at the site for all cars.
